Congrats on passing the CCC Level 1 Instructor Exam!
Now What?
You're now eligible to offer CCC Level 1 classes to your students! Be sure to continue using the CCC Instructor Community as a resource as you move forward with your students. Post questions and share your experiences with others, and get new ideas to try in your classes there.
Soon you'll be receiving your CCC Instructor Kit, which includes:

Follow these three easy steps to begin using the CCC Level 1 curriculum with your clients:
- Download the CCC Level 1 Teaching Checklist, which includes the steps you'll need to follow before, during and after teaching a Level 1 class.
- The CCC logo is available for you to use on your website. Any promotional materials you produce that include the CCC logo must be approved by Cindy & Suzanne prior to distribution.
- If you haven't already ordered your Connection Course card sets from Suzanne, use coupon code FLIPLID10 for 10% off when you order. You'll need the Foundation Set for your Level 1 classes, but will also be using the other two sets in CCC Levels 2 & 3.
CCC Levels 2 & 3
Once you begin teaching Level 1 your students will be eager to begin Level 2 & 3 classes. Don't delay in moving forward on your path to certification so that you can offer the more advanced classes while your folks are enthusiastic about their progress!
The CCC Level 2 Course
In order to begin teaching CCC Levels 2 to students, program participants must successfully complete the online CCC Level 2 Instructor course. The course takes six weeks to complete. Trainees will experience the lessons as clients do, but will also be provided with the instructional how-to’s as they progress through the course along with quizzes and a test at the end of the course to confirm proficiency of the material and its application. Upon completion participants will apply the techniques by teaching two dog/handler teams, and submitting the following for each team:
- A video of the finished product
- A training log recording the number of hours taught
- An instructor evaluation
The CCC Level 3 Course
Program participants must successfully complete the six week online CCC Level 2 Instructor course in order to begin teaching the Level 3 course to students. Trainees will experience the lessons as clients do, but will also be provided with the instructional how-to’s as they progress through the course along with quizzes and a test at the end of the course to confirm proficiency of the material and its application. Upon completion participants will apply the techniques by teaching two dog/handler teams, and submitting the following for each team:
- A video of the finished product
- A training log recording the number of hours taught
- An instructor evaluation
Once you complete the components above and pass the Advanced Instructor Exam you will be certified and eligible to teach CCC Levels 1, 2 and 3.
