So You're Getting Ready to Teach
Now What?
You're now eligible to offer CCC Level 1 classes to your students! Be sure to continue using the CCC Instructor Community as a resource as you move forward with your students. Post questions and share your experiences with others, and get new ideas to try in your classes there.
Review the following carefully and take notes! You'll need these pieces to move forward smoothly!
- The CCC logo is available for you to use on your website. Any promotional materials you produce that include the CCC logo must be approved by Cindy & Suzanne prior to distribution.
- Include this link as a part of the confirmation info you send to your students before they begin the course. Having your students read this info ahead of time will save you a great deal of time the first night of class so you can dive right in with the lessons. The info in the link includes a survey that your students should fill out and email to you prior to the start of class. When you receive the completed questionnaires please forward them to instructors@theconnectionpuzzle.net within a week of the class start date.
- The CCC Student Name Plate is used to indicate each student's spot in the classroom. It reinforces the concept of teamwork. Clients like seeing their dog's name "in lights" and love taking the name plate home with them when they've finished their CCC classes.
- The student workbooks will be an integral part of your classes and a requirement, but they're not quite ready for purchase just yet. Please print out the individual homework and puzzle map handouts for now, but be aware that once the workbooks become available printing and distributing the individual handouts will no longer be an option.
- The optional online make up service is an easy, convenient way to point your students to what they missed when they aren't able to attend a class. Try it free for three months and see what it does for you and your students. (Email cindy@theconnectionpuzzle.net for your free three month trial.) After that subscriptions are available at the CCC Instructor Store.
- The CCC Student Survey should also be sent out to your students on Week 6 of the class. Download your blank copy and add it to your files so that you can send it out to them, and follow the same procedure above when they are returned to you. The information gathered from these before and after surveys will help us gather data and benefit the CCC program tremendously. Please make it a priority to get these returned to us.
- Download the updated Level 1 Week 6 Outline and replace your old version. The updated page includes a reminder to collect the surveys.
- The CCC Student Certificate should be presented to each student on graduation day. Simply type in the team's name, your name, facility name and date at the bottom and print!
- You'll be receiving the quarterly CCC Newsletter via email. You're welcome to distribute it to your students as you like.
- Use the CCC Instructor Community to let us know how we can support you as you begin your work with your students. We're here for you!!
- If you haven't already ordered your Connection Course card sets from Suzanne, here's a coupon you can use. You'll need the Foundation Set for your Level 1 classes, but will also be using the other two sets in CCC Levels 2 & 3.
CCC Levels 2 & 3
Once you begin teaching Level 1 your students will be eager to begin Level 2 & 3 classes. Don't delay in moving forward on your path to certification so that you can offer the more advanced classes while your folks are enthusiastic about their progress!
